Guignol, puppet theater.

Punch and judy. This is the original head of "the gendarme " in french punch and judy. This was ceated in 1808 in Lyon, France.
this head is in clay and is very typical.
some wooden puppets
typical french old man with his "béret"
and the theater i would like to transform.
do you remember this soft toy? when i got it, it had a terrible smell of tobacco. To get rid of it, i cleaned it with bicarbonate of soda. Now it is clean and does not smell anymore of tobacco. You can easily use this on soft toys. This was my idea of the day.

Hi Catherine.
Oggi è l'ultimo giorno di carnevale...e poi ritornerà tutto alla normalità. Qui sono due giorni che nevica!
Un abbraccio, *Maristella*.

Your puppets are very nice indeed, and I shall keep in mind the good idea of using bicarbonate soda.

Thank you for sharing
