Yesterday, we went to Cabourg, a seaside town where "Proust" used to stay in "The Grand hôtel". It is one of the first places in Normandy where people from Paris used to go to take a bath in the sea.
We had some "Madeleines" for our tea,  made with the famous recipe.
This is the "Grand hôtel"
We are back in time, with the splendid villas and atmosphere of the town and promenade.
Itook some pictures for you.

Who is in this suite?
We had a very romantic day and had supper at "Honfleur"!

Quel charme dans cette ville ! Et puis on y associe tout l'univers de Proust, les villégiatures romantiques ... tant de belles vues sur la plage !
Belle journée à toi Catherine ! Bisous et encore mille mercis pour les mugs ... so british !!!

Oh Catherine what a BEAUTIFUL hotel! What style and I love all the different roof lines and the turrets. I especially love the turret with the angled windows where there must be a stairway. I can just imagine all the wonderful 'nooks and crannies' it holds in the inside! This must be your husband? I'm glad you had a wonderful day together.
Maura :)
