Walk along the river Seine .RESULT OF GIVE AWAY TONIGHT!

It was a really nice spring day, one of those days you feel like going out for a walk. It was a nice walk along the river Seine , on the "road of the fruits", well i have to explain you that along the river there are orchards  and  you can buy apple, pears, plums, cherries...in summer of course!the people sell their fruits in from of their home on the road sides  and lots of people buy their fruits there, especially those from the towns. On sundays there are also little markets everywhere selling fruits , honey ,cheeses...gingerbread ," confiture de lait " it's a jam made of milk , which has the taste of caramel....so good!
have a nice week.SORRY ,the result of the give away will be tonight due to problems i had yesterday. Tonight  round 7 , i will give you the results. Sotty again, see you tonight.

Hello Catherine! What a beautiful place to take a walk...so peaceful and quiet with the sheep and cows and fruit tree's in bloom. Our fruit tree's have finished blooming and the blossoms are falling off. I hate to see them go but I know it has to happen. Soon the lilacs blossoms will be gone too. I love the stone building with the turret...Norman architecture is beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful Monday...take care. Maura

I would very much like to walk along the 'road of fruits' - such beautiful blossom on the fruit trees. It must look fabulous in all seasons! You live in such a wonderful part of the French countryside Catherine. By the way did you see my post on the allotments of Lagrasse (31 March 2010) on my blog - they are not in Normandy of course but you may like them:-)

PS I love the music that accompanied me on my tour along the River Seine!
