Amish apple cake recipe

Ingredients: 1/2cup chopped peacan nuts/ 75gr de noix de pécans. 2-1/2c finely chopped apples, such as granny smith/ 375gr de pomme type granny smith finement hachées. 1c sugar/ 200gr de sucre. 1c1/2 butter/ 120gr de beurre ramolli. 1 egg/ 1 oeuf . 1tsp baking soda/ 1c à café de bicarbonate. 1/4 tsp salt/ 3gr de sel. 1tsp nutmeg/ 4 ou 5gr de noix de muscade. 1/2tsp vanilla/ 1/2c à café de vanille (vous pouvez consulter les tables de convertion des recettes des usa ,voir la cuisine métrique).
HOT CARAMEL SAUCE.
1/2cup butter/120gr de beure. 1c brown sugar/180gr de sucre brun.1/2tsp salt/ 4gr de sel. 1tsp vanilla / 1c à café de vanille.1/2 c evaporated milk/ 120ml de lait concentré non sucré.


Directions: In a large bowl, cream the butter. Add the sugar ant beat until fluffy. Add the egg and beat until well blended. Mix in the soda, salt cinamon and nutmeg. Add the flour and stir in the apples and nuts. Pour out into an oil 9" round cake pan and bake in preheat 350° oven for 30mn until the top springs when touch lightly with your finger. Serve with hot caramel sauce. In a saucepan melt the butter, brown sugar and salt. Bring to the boil. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and milk. Serves 8.

Seems good recipe! Just need one information: What does tsp mean?

tsp means teaspoon it's about 4 or5 grammes.thanks for your comments.see you!
